On January 8, 2017, Jermaine Roach, a 25-year-old resident of Temple Hills, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the afternoon around 2:30 p.m. when Prince George's County police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Hill Park Drive and Dunlap Street. Upon arrival, officers found Roach suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
