On January 22, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m., 19-year-old Bacari Colvin was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Southern Avenue Metro Station in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland. First responders administered first aid, but Colvin was pronounced dead at the scene.
