In the early afternoon of April 10, 2024, tragedy struck in Prince George's County, Maryland, claiming the life of 19-year-old Carlos Hernandez-Ortiz of Chillum. The young man, a male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds outside on the 500 block of Chillum Road. Both teenagers have been charged as adults in the killing of Carlos Hernandez-Ortiz. The charges brought against them are significant, including first and second-degree murder, along with other related charges. Following their arrest, both suspects were held without bond as they await further legal proceedings.
