In the quiet evening of September 16, 2010, the life of 17-year-old Erlin Alexis Romero-Ramirez was tragically cut short on the Sligo Creek Trail Bridge in Hyattsville, Maryland. He was found lying on the ground, having been shot, and was rushed to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
