On May 30, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Prince George's County Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 6800 block of Hawthorne Street in Landover, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 40-year-old Anthony Dickens of Upper Marlboro outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, Dickens was pronounced dead at the scene.
