On a Tuesday night in March 2021, the life of 32-year-old Mark Delane Rowe of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. The male victim was in the Landover area of Prince George's County, Maryland, on March 9th, when a dispute escalated into fatal violence. Police had been called to the 6900 block of Hawthorne Street just before 10 p.m. for a report of disorderly individuals in a parking lot.
As officers were responding to the scene, the sound of gunshots pierced the night air.
A search of the area led them to a nearby parking lot in the 2600 block of Kent Village Drive, where they found Mark Rowe unresponsive. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
