In the late summer evening of August 24, 2020, tragedy struck in the Langley Park area of Hyattsville, Maryland, forever altering the lives of a local family. Jose Borjas-Flores, a 42-year-old male, was fatally wounded in a shooting that erupted in the 7900 block of 14th Avenue.
