Andre Lamont Cox Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Hyattsville, MD, tragically lost his life on October 27, 2020, in a shooting incident that occurred in Landover, MD. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the shooting took place around 6:30 p.m. near the 3200 block of 75th Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found Cox outside with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
