On May 26, 2024, Quincy Johnson, a 20-year-old resident of Takoma Park, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed in a double homicide at Nolte Local Park in Silver Spring. The incident occurred around 6:57 PM, where Johnson and another victim, D’Andre Wint, also 20 years old and from Lanham, were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
