Sheldon Williams, a 20-year-old resident of Southeast Washington, D.C., was tragically found dead on March 11, 2016, in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring, Maryland. His body was discovered by a passerby on a trail in the 13800 block of Castle Boulevard just before midnight. The passerby alerted a private security guard, who then contacted the authorities. Upon investigation, it was determined that Williams had suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head, leading to his untimely death.
