Osorio was survived by his girlfriend of eight years and their three children, one of whom was born after his father's tragic murder.
The sound of gunfire attracted the immediate attention of a Prince George's County police officer who was working a part-time job nearby. The officer's quick response was crucial in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. He witnessed a man fleeing the scene and promptly gave chase in his cruiser.
