In the early morning hours of July 8, 2023, the life of 21-year-old Kymani Elijah Bailey of Baltimore was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in downtown Silver Spring. The incident occurred at approximately 2:40 a.m. inside Public Parking Garage 3, near Thayer and Silver Spring Avenues.
