On July 1, 2023, at approximately 2 a.m., Spartanburg Police Department officers responded to a reported home invasion on George Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Upon entering the residence, they discovered 66-year-old Robert Douglas "Doug" Bivings in a bedroom, deceased from a gunshot wound to the head.

Witnesses indicated that the fatal shooting was connected to an earlier home invasion. Authorities are seeking multiple suspects, possibly two males, in relation to this case. As ...Read More
