On a Friday evening, August 9, 2024, the life of 34-year-old Terrell Hightower was tragically cut short in Capitol Heights, Maryland. A Black male resident of Temple Hills, Hightower was inside a home in the 4700 block of Pard Road when he was fatally shot. Prince George's County police officers responded to a report of the shooting at approximately 6:35 p.m. and found Hightower suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
