Marcel Dessin

In the late hours of a November night in 2008, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Marcel Dessin, a 22-year-old Black / African American male, was driving home after a night out with friends when his vehicle was met with a spray of bullets from another car. The incident occurred on November 24, 2008, as he was leaving the parking lot of a nightclub. The shots proved fatal for Dessin, the son of a retired Washington D.C. police officer.
