Marcel Dessin, a 22-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, Maryland, tragically lost his life on November 24, 2008. Dessin was returning home after a night out with friends when he was fatally shot by bullets fired from another vehicle. The incident occurred as he was leaving a nightclub parking lot. Dessin, the son of a former DC police officer, was known for his hard work, holding down two jobs, and being a well-regarded individual in his community.
