Khalil Wiggins, a 44-year-old rapper known as Big Lyl, was tragically shot and killed on December 29, 2016, in his home in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Responding to a call at around 8:40 p.m., Prince George's County Police officers found Wiggins with multiple gunshot wounds in his residence on Byers Street. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
