In the quiet neighborhood near Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, the morning of January 25, 2025, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of South Union Boulevard around 8:15 a.m., they discovered a grim scene. Three men were found deceased, their lives abruptly ended by violence. One of the victims was 20-year-old Manuel Alberto Villafan, a Hispanic male who had his whole life ahead of him.
