On May 19, 2024, the body of 16-year-old Hispanic male, Jesus Quintana Cota, was discovered in a remote area of Pajarito Mesa in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The cause of his death was determined to be a gunshot wound. Initially, law enforcement faced challenges in identifying the young man, but a breakthrough came when his family filed a missing person's report.
