On June 30, 2024, Guillermo Ramirez, a 34-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was fatally shot at the Days Inn Motel located at 6031 Iliff Rd., N.W. The incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the motel. Ramirez, who worked at the Days Inn, was shot once in the face while sitting inside a vehicle and died at the scene.
