In the desolate expanse of Pajarito Mesa in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a grim discovery was made on the evening of October 27, 2022. The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a vehicle fire near the intersection of James Cook Drive and Pajarito Road SW. Upon their arrival, deputies found an SUV fully engulfed in flames in a ditch bank. After the Bernalillo County Fire and Rescue team extinguished the blaze, the scene revealed a greater tragedy.
