On January 18, 2024, Joseph Alvarez tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Southeast Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident occurred in the area of Palomas Dr. and Ross Ave., SE, during what was reported as a domestic dispute.

The Albuquerque Police Department arrested 29-year-old Roberta Martinez in connection with the fatal shooting. Martinez, who was in a relationship with Alvarez, claimed that they had a history of domestic abuse. She initially told investigators that the s ...
