On April 23, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 35-year-old Miguel Gonzales-Muñoz was fatally shot while driving east on Bridge Boulevard near Old Coors. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. when another driver, later identified as 22-year-old Ruben Sanchez, fired multiple shots at Gonzales-Muñoz's vehicle. After being struck several times, Gonzales-Muñoz lost control of his car, crashing into the yard of a residence at 2313 Bridge.
