In the late hours of a Thursday in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the life of 24-year-old Eddy Jose Ortiz was tragically cut short. On September 29, 2022, law enforcement officers were called to a residence at 652 Bataan Drive SW following reports of a shooting. Inside the home, they discovered Ortiz, who had succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
