On October 18, 2017, 20-year-old Tubaya Perez was fatally shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident occurred near the intersection of Alvarado Road and Ross Street in the southeast part of the city. Perez was discovered lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
