On December 7, 2024, 15-year-old Michael Rowe was tragically shot and killed at a laundromat located at 611 San Mateo Blvd. SE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident began when Rowe and two friends engaged in a dispute with 39-year-old Jamel Coriz over the use of a washing machine. This altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, prompting Coriz to leave the premises.
