On February 21, 2020, 34-year-old Michael Sanchez was fatally shot at the Effing Bar and Grill, located at Coors and Sequoia in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Reports indicate that Sanchez was allegedly attempting to break into a vehicle when confronted by security personnel, leading to the shooting.
