On December 31, 2021, 31-year-old Nicholas Ray Turrietta was found deceased in his Albuquerque, New Mexico, home. Initially, friends reported him as unconscious through a window, leading officers to suspect a possible overdose. However, a subsequent examination revealed a gunshot wound to his head, prompting the Albuquerque Police Department to classify the case as a homicide.
