Rachael Marie Morgan, a 46-year-old woman, was reported missing from Dublin, Ohio. She was last seen by her father at his home on October 2, 2025. When her father returned home from work, he discovered that Rachael had left behind her phone, wallet, vehicle, and other personal belongings. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Distinctive features included a missing molar on her right side and two tattoos: an eye symbol on her right hip and a star on her left hip. The Columbus Division of Police, along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, were involved in the investigation into her disappearance. The search for Rachael tragically came to an end on March 25, 2026, when human remains were discovered in a field on private land near Riverside Drive and Bright Road in Dublin. A man who was searching for arrowheads in the area found what he believed to be a decomposing human body and alerted the police. Investigators located the remains, which were described as decomposed down to the bones, approximately 300 feet east of Riverside Drive in some bushes. Some clothing items, including women's underwear and a sock on the left foot, were found with the remains. The remains were then sent to the Franklin County Coroner's Office for identification. In early April 2026, the City of Dublin confirmed that the remains were positively identified as those of Rachael Morgan. An initial examination by the coroner's office revealed no obvious signs of trauma. The case that began as a missing person investigation concluded with the heartbreaking discovery of her death. The Dublin Police Department investigated her death, and the city and police department extended their condolences to her loved ones. Rachael was remembered as a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt who was loved by many.
