In the quiet, early morning hours of August 7, 2023, a family visit in the small town of McCune, Kansas, turned into a scene of tragedy. Ian Cole Fox, a 28-year-old male from Winchester, Kentucky, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 12:53 a.m. at a residence on 5th Street, where he was visiting relatives. Emergency services arrived to find him with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
