On a tragic afternoon in Wichita, Kansas, 14-year-old Jalen Reed, a Black male, lost his life in a shooting incident on June 13, 2022. The event unfolded around noon at a residence in the 1900 block of South Shiloh. Jalen was in the company of a 16-year-old male at the time of the incident.
