Murdered

On October 29, 2023, 23-year-old Jaylon Trice Pete was fatally shot outside the Onyx nightclub in Wichita, Kansas. Officers found Pete in the club's parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to a hospital, where he later died. Two other men, aged 24 and 26, also sustained serious injuries during the incident but survived.
