In the early evening of November 6, 2019, a dispute that festered on social media spilled into the real world with tragic consequences for 15-year-old Marion Wheaton. The Black / African American male, a student at West High School in Wichita, Kansas, became the city's 24th homicide victim of the year after being shot at McAdams Park.
