In the early morning hours of April 11, 2021, the life of 20-year-old Elijah Bilal Davis was tragically cut short in Wichita, Kansas. A gathering at an Airbnb property on North Battin Avenue turned violent, resulting in a shooting that would leave one young man dead and several others wounded. The male victim, Elijah Davis, was discovered in the backyard of the residence, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The incident, which unfolded around 3 a.m., also resulted in injuries to three other individuals, who were later released from the hospital.
Elijah was remembered as a funny and smart individual with a unique laugh, who was part of a large family with several siblings.
