On a tragic evening in Wichita, Kansas, the life of 26-year-old Rolando Holt, a Black/African American male, was cut short by gunfire. The date was December 3, 2017, and Holt was at a residence in the 2600 block of East Wilma, visiting with friends. The gathering took a fatal turn just before 8 p.m. when two unknown individuals were permitted to enter the home.
The visitors met with Holt in the kitchen of the house. It was there that the scene descended into violence as shots were fired.
