In the late hours of a Sunday in Alexandria, Louisiana, the life of 43-year-old Eric Dewayne Perry, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On March 19, 2023, Perry was found deceased, the victim of a fatal shooting. The Alexandria Police Department responded to the scene and immediately began an investigation into the homicide.
