Christopher A. Veal, a 32-year-old man from Alexandria, Louisiana, tragically passed away on April 16, 2016. Veal was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 600 block of Meadow Lane. Emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation revealed that Veal had been involved in an altercation with 47-year-old Tracy Mitchell, who produced a firearm and shot Veal. Mitchell was subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
