Dexter Hymes, an 18-year-old male from Alexandria, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on January 14, 2022. Dexter Hymes was found with a gunshot wound in the 2200 block of West Sycamore Street. Despite being rushed to a local hospital for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries. The Alexandria Police Department quickly launched a homicide investigation into the incident.
