In the late hours of a Tuesday evening in Alexandria, Louisiana, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. On September 19, 2023, at approximately 10:45 PM, police responded to a call of a shooting at the intersection of Chester Street and Polk Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 25-year-old Tyruin Green, a male resident of Alexandria, lying deceased in the roadway.
