In the late morning hours of Tuesday, May 28, 2024, a vehicle crash in the 2900 block of 3rd Street in Alexandria, Louisiana, led to a grim discovery. First responders arrived at the scene around 9:10 AM to find a car had struck a building. The driver, 23-year-old Kalen Dubois, a male resident of Alexandria, was found unresponsive inside the vehicle.
He was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Dubois was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The preliminary investigation conducted by the Alexandria Police Department suggests that the shooting actually occurred in the 2900 block of 4th Street.
