In the late evening hours of Thursday, July 25, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department was called to the 2500 block of Loblolly Lane. There, they discovered the body of 20-year-old Kentriel Girtley, a resident of Alexandria. An initial investigation determined that the young man had died from a gunshot wound.
