On November 1, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in the 700 block of Willow Glen in Alexandria, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Eric Sykes. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a call at approximately 4:12 AM regarding an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, Eric Sykes was identified as the victim and was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
