Death by Force

On the night of August 16, 2023, at approximately 10:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of Levin Street. Officers discovered that five individuals had sustained gunshot wounds of varying severity and were transported by private vehicles to Rapides Regional Medical Center. Tragically, one of the victims, 25-year-old Jamian Duncan of Alexandria, succumbed to his injuries.
