In the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the quiet of the 1500 block of Dallas Avenue in Alexandria, Louisiana, was broken by a grim discovery. Responding to a call at approximately 5:15 AM about an individual lying in the roadway, Alexandria Police Department officers arrived to find the body of 45-year-old Damon Johnson. It was soon determined that Johnson, a male resident of Alexandria, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
