On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at approximately 5:15 AM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a call in the 1500 block of Dallas Avenue in Alexandria, Louisiana. Upon arrival, officers found 45-year-old Damon Johnson lying in the roadway, deceased from a gunshot wound.

Damon Johnson, a resident of Alexandria, LA, was identified as the victim. The incident is currently under investigation by the Alexandria Police Department.
