In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Alexandria, Louisiana, the life of 36-year-old Samuel Henderson Jr. came to a violent end. On September 3, 2024, at approximately 11:11 PM, officers from the Alexandria Police Department were dispatched to the 2600 block of Overton Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. Upon their arrival, they discovered Henderson, a local man, deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
