On December 31, 2023, at approximately 8:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department (APD) responded to a report of an individual suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2200 block of East Sycamore Street in Alexandria, Louisiana. Upon arrival, officers found Tre'Wande “Cordell” Vallery, a 21-year-old resident of Alexandria, deceased at the scene.
