Death by Force

On the morning of Monday, April 21, 2025, Alexandria Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Eastwood Boulevard at approximately 4:35 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old African American male Diamante Swaizer suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at around 5:30 p.m.
