On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at approximately 5:30 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a report of an individual suffering from a gunshot wound in the 800 block of Ola Street in Alexandria, Louisiana. The victim, identified as Don Errol Butler Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Alexandria, was transported to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
