In the late afternoon of Wednesday, May 21, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 4000 block of Clark Street in Alexandria, Louisiana. When Alexandria Police Department officers arrived at the scene around 5:30 PM, they found that three individuals had been struck by bullets. Among them was 17-year-old Corey Brooks, a male student at Alexandria Senior High School. All three victims were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
