On October 8, 2023, 22-year-old Shedrick Jordan from Alexandria, Louisiana, was fatally victimized in a homicide incident. The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Culpepper Road in Alexandria. Jordan was pronounced deceased at the hospital following the incident, which has been confirmed as a result of gun violence.
