In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 24, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department was called to the 2000 block of Levin Street, where they discovered the body of 54-year-old Mickel Fells, a Black/African American male. Fells was found deceased at approximately 2:55 AM from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
